Prague's snowblanket

Whilst visiting Prague in 2016, Bridget was overwhelmed by the beauty of the white snow contrasting to the dark rigid trees, this was set against a soft view of Prague's lovely pastel coloured, snow covered buildings. ‘Prague’s Snow Blanket’ is on old wooden board, the nails coming out of the edges of the wood seem to be a talking point and suit the dark engraved trees, whilst the unexpected element of old wood compliments the rustic aspect of the landscape, revealing elements of the natural grain of the wood. This piece has been exhibited with Manchester Academy of Fine Arts at Portico Library, April 2016;  Art Exhibition, Stretford Public Hall, November 2016; and also Legacy Exhibition at Manchester Metropolitan University, January 2017.
